You Can Now Meet Ed Sheeran In Dubai… Well, Kind Of

Ed Sheeran is visiting Dubai – albeit in waxwork form (we did say ‘kind of’).

Yep, the world-famous singer-songwriter’s wax figure is now in residence at Madame Tussauds Dubai on Bluewaters Islands meaning you can see Ed Sheeran in Dubai.

On loan from Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, Sheeran’s figure will only be on show for a limited time, so if you want to snap a picture with the Bad Habits singer, you’ll need to be quick.

Though a definite doppelganger, the waxwork doesn’t possess the same musical talent as its human counterpart, who has sold more than 100 million singles worldwide and performed in Dubai back in 2017.

Sheeran’s wax figure, which wears an Equals album merch t-shirt and holds a W-03 guitar, will be standing alongside Justin Bieber in the A-List Party Zone.

The interactive experience features a number of celebrity icons, including Sheeran’s musical partner and best mate Taylor Swift.

Swift was added to the collection in December, wearing a shimmering turtle neck top with high-waisted trousers and black strappy heels.

Along with meeting famous musicians, you can also sit down with the late Queen Elizabeth II for a cup of tea, discuss business on a private jet with Donald Trump and sit front row with Anna Wintour.

It’s reported that each of the waxworks take around three to six months to make and would retail at a whopping Dhs700,000 each.
