The Little Mermaid’s Disney+ UAE Premiere Date Revealed

Disney’s live-action reimagining of The Little Mermaid splashed into cinemas in May.

And now, the date that it will be available to stream at home has been announced.

A chance for fans to see it again and again, the film that grossed over $542 million at the global box office, will premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday September 6.

Those who have already caught the film at the cinema will know that it features an all-star cast, including singer and actress Halle Bailey (Grown-ish) as Ariel; Jonah Hauer-King (A Dog’s Way Home) as Eric; Tony Award winner Daveed Diggs (Hamilton) as the voice of Sebastian; Awkwafina (Raya and the Last Dragon) as the voice of Scuttle; Jacob Tremblay (Room) as the voice of Flounder.

The list goes on with Noma Dumezweni (Mary Poppins Returns) as The Queen; Art Malik (Homeland) as Sir Grimsby; Oscar winner Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Being the Ricardos) as King Triton; and two-time Academy Award nominee Melissa McCarthy (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Bridesmaids) as Ursula.

Get ready to sing your heart out as several huge hits from the original movie score are in the revamp.

In the UAE, Disney+ is priced at Dhs29.99 per month, or Dhs298.99 annually, and you can use up to four concurrent streams and have unlimited downloads on up to ten devices.

You can set up different profiles, with the option to create kids’ profiles with age-appropriate content.
