Sneak Peek Inside Dubai’s Huge New Indoor Activity Centre

Not going on holiday this summer? Well, you can stay in Dubai and have a lot of fun – be it picnicking at sandy beaches, trying out delicious eateries, or enjoying indoor activities.

Being said that, A huge indoor entertainment centre is opening in Deira next week.

Spread over 40,000 sq ft, GLITCH is opening at the Al Ghurair Centre on Monday June 19. With over 30 different indoor games to play, the massive entertainment park looks almost like a theme park.

Suitable for the whole family, the activities include a ninja warrior-style course, an indoor roller glider, bowling, climbing activities and VR games.

GLITCH is open from 10am-10pm Sunday to Thursday and from 10am to midnight on Friday and Saturday. Each activity is priced separately, though you can purchase packages from Dhs45 to include multiple experiences.

The city’s first-ever roller glider, SkySurf allows you to float around the venue on the top of the ceiling looking down on the park. It costs Dhs35 (Mon-Thu) or Dhs50 (Fri-Sun) for two rides.

Another unique attraction is Pandora’s Peak which is a climbing challenge made up of clouds. Kids (from the age of four) can climb up the cloud-shaped structures to reach the top before sliding down a 10-metre-high slide.

A ninja warrior-style course called Kazu allows kids and adults to take part in a series of physical challenges that are designed to test strength and ability.

If you or any of your friend prefers to stay on the ground, there is an eight-lane bowling alley, a retro video game arcade, and a variety of VR games available.
