RollDXB To Host A Series Of Barbie-themed Discos This Week

RollDXB is throwing a Barbie-themed bash this week. Expect disco balls, neon lights and the Barbie soundtrack to be playing as you skate around the rink.

The RollDXB Barbie disco is taking place on Wednesday August 23 (6pm-11pm), Friday August 25, Saturday August 26 and Sunday August 27 (11am-11pm).

Tickets start from Dhs115 per person, but there are discounts if you go in a group.

Groups of two to four people get 15 percent off, groups of five to seven will get 20 percent off and large groups of eight people or more will get 25 percent off.

If, like Barbie in the first half of the film, every night is girls’ night for you, head to Wednesday’s edition which will be for ladies only. Don’t worry, Ken (or Alan) the weekend disco nights are open to men too.

At each event, there will be a costume competition. Those wearing the best Barbie and Ken outfits will win prizes.

In her roller Barbie get-up, Barbie would fit right in at Roll DXB with its ’80s-theme. Much like the OG roller Barbie that came out in 1980, the skates you hire here are serious retro vibes.
