Get Excited About The UAE’s Upcoming Harry Potter Attraction

It was announced at the end of 2022 that a Wizarding World of Harry Potter is to open in the UAE.

Located at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, fans of Harry, Ron, Hermione and the clan are highly anticipating the opening of the magical theme park.

And the recent opening of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter at the former site of the Toshimaen amusement park in Nerima, has got us wondering what we can expect with the Abu Dhabi outpost.

So far, Warner Bros. has said the land “will invite fans to step inside iconic locations from the wizarding world, seen in an all-new way.”

Other tidbits of information we know (and probably the most exciting) is that Miral (the developers behind the project) is promising that the attraction will “bring Harry Potter to fans like never before.”

Sounding like it will be bigger and better than anything seen before, they added it will be a “wholly new and spectacular destination for fans to immerse themselves in.”

If it’s anything like the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios, there will be an Olivander’s Wand Shop where you can buy your own wand and a Hogwarts castle replica with a rollercoaster inside.

We’re also hopeful for remakes of famous Potter locations such as Hogsmeade and The Three Broomsticks.

Our fingers are crossed that inspiration will be taken from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter which has replicas of The Great Hall, Gringotts Bank and Diagon Alley.

Similarly to the original Studio Tour experience in the British capital, the Tokyo spot has a range of exhibits from costumes and props to models used in the movies.

All of the Harry Potter attractions around the globe also give Potterheads the chance to try food that features in the books so, we are expecting a menu with Chocolate Frogs and Butterbeer (hooray).
