First-ever Arab Music Candlelight Concert To Happen In Dubai

An enchanting music concert is set to take place in the city this September.

For the first time ever, Candlelight Concerts will host a concert exclusively dedicated to Arab music.

Taking place at Al Majlis Madinat Jumeirah on Friday September 15, tickets starting from Dhs150 are available now via the Fever website for those who wish to attend.

Two shows will take place, one at 7pm and the other at 9pm, both lasting 65 minutes.

Sure to be a special event, attendees will hear several songs, performed in candlelight, by Fusion Al Arab Group.

• “Longa Riyad” – Riad Al Sunbati
• “Longa Shahinaz” – Adham Afandi
• “Alef Leila W Leila” – Umm Kulthum
• “Ana Fi Intizarak”- Umm Kulthum
• “Anta Omri” – Umm Kulthum
• “Adeesh kan fe nas” & “Ahwak” – Fairuz
• “Sa’aloni El Nass” – Fairuz
• “Maasal”- Ilham Al-Madfai
• “Ya Rayah” – Rachid Taha
• “Abdel Kader” – Cheb Khalid, Faudel, Rachid Taha
• “Kef Asebak” – Abdul Majeed Abdullah
• “Radinak” – Talal Salamah
• “Tehaddoh El Bashar” – Rashed Al-Majed
• “Garahouna” – George Wassouf

This isn’t the first concert by candlelight to take place in the city, but it is the first time Arabic music will make the line-up.

Previously, the programmes have included a wide variety of themes and genres, including tributes to contemporary artists like Queen, ABBA, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran, as well as shows dedicated to K-Pop and film soundtracks.
