Enjoy Dubai Metro Music Festival At Metro Stations From March 6 To 12

Today, on March 6th, Dubai has launched the third iteration of the Dubai Metro Music Festival! This week-long celebration of world music, which is being put on by Brand Dubai in partnership with the Roads and Transport Authority, promises to be larger and better than before.

Electric Line-Up Of Muscians

Twenty musicians from 14 nations, including Egypt, India, France, Thailand, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Cuba, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, Canada, the Netherlands, Jordan, and Australia, are participating in this year’s festival. Commuters can enjoy a diverse lineup of performances using string, percussion, wind, acoustic, and unconventional instruments, including ones manufactured from discarded things, at five Dubai Metro stations: Union, Mall of Emirates, Burjuman, Dubai Financial Centre, and Sobha Properties.

To keep up with the UAE’s declaration of 2023 as the “Year of Sustainability,” this year’s event is focused on the theme of sustainability. The festival offers musicians a fantastic chance to display their talent while playing instruments constructed of recyclable materials.

For commuters and music lovers alike, the Dubai Metro Music Festival promises to be an amazing experience. Iman Al-Raisi, an Emirati electric guitarist, and Shadi Al-Harbi, a self-taught Saudi musician, will both provide special performances at this year’s festival. Also, from 4 pm to 10 pm in a few metro stations, audiences will be taught to new instruments including the folk beatbox and the flute beatbox.
