Shape Of You singer Ed Sheeran has announced his – = ÷ x Mathematics Tour on Instagram, with 11 dates lined up across Asia and the Middle East.

Sheeran’s website revealed tour dates starting in 2024, taking in cities including Bahrain, Osaka, Tokyo, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.

And according to the tour line-up, Dubai is one of the destinations set to play host to the 32-year-old. For now, the Shape of You hitmaker’s Dubai date is yet to be announced.

A Dubai concert date for Sheeran would mark his first trip to the region since 2017, where he played at the city’s Autism Rocks Arena. Sheeran is currently on tour in the US until the end of October.

Famed for his hits Bad Habits, Perfect and I Don’t Care, Sheeran’s library of songs continues to grow. He released not one, but two albums in 2023. One of which (Autumn Variations) was released on his own record label Gingerbread Man Records.

He rose to fame after releasing videos on YouTube, with his soft folky sound and self-written songs quickly earning him a loyal fan base, including music legend Elton John.

After releasing his debut album + Plus in 2011, the musician was catapulted into the charts and has not really left them since.

His latest tour name, – = ÷ x Mathematics, is an amalgamation of his album names. At the gigs, you can expect to hear tracks from his new releases along with some of his all-time classics.
