Camp At The Green Planet This Summer

Though camping season is over, there’s one place you can still spend the night in a tent in Dubai.

Dubai’s indoor rainforest has brought back its camping experience for the summer. The Green Planet camping experience will be running from June 2 to September 29. You and your family will be able to sleep among the animals within the biodome (in a tent). During the overnight stay, everything is provided so you won’t need to bring your sleeping bag.

The Green Planet camping experience starts at 7pm and includes dinner and breakfast the next morning at the rainforest’s café.

It’s Dhs750 for two adults in a regular tent and children can join for Dhs200 per child. Groups of four can book a large tent for Dhs1,450 with additional members costing Dhs300 or Dhs200 per child.

Throughout the evening you’ll be kept entertained with a tour of the rainforest, where you’ll meet some of the nocturnal animals. There will be a wildlife documentary to watch before bedtime, along with a story time and toasting marshmallows session, too.

Over 3,000 plants and animals call the indoor biodome, in City Walk, their home. If you want to explore during the day, it will cost you Dhs140 on arrival or Dhs125 online for adults. Kids are Dhs120 on arrival or Dhs110 when booking online.
