A Virtual Reality Go-Karting Experience Is Opening In Dubai

Do we have fans of video game here? Well, you can soon step into a video game.

Soon, Dubai residents and visitors will get as close as possible as the city is getting its first live-action video game racing experience.

Prepare to unleash your inner Penelope Pitstop and Dick Dastardly as the new attraction is a go-kart track where guests can get behind the wheel of karts to battle their mates.

According to Chaos Karts’ Instagram page, it will open this winter. Super excited!

Not just your regular racecourse, Chaos Karts will throw racers into a virtual world of augmented reality.

We’re talking about zooming around a digitally-projected world where drivers will not only have to navigate the track but watch out for obstacles that come their way.

With no physical obstacles on the track and anti-collision technology, helmets and driving suits will not be required and karts will be kitted out with features to simulate real-life sensations to immerse competitors fully into the experience.

Each race will vary in design, complete with music and kart powers to help racers battle it to the finish line.

Riders will need to be aged 9 and above to get stuck in (we predict lots of birthday parties will take place at Chaos Karts).

The Dubai branch (the exact location is yet to be revealed) will be the second in the world with the original based in Manchester, England.
