A Rock Tribute Concert To Occur In Dubai With Pink Floyd And Queen Acts

In Dubai, there are only a few places where you can listen to rock, so the news of a rock-themed event is literally music to our ears.

Rock DXB Tribute Festival is happening on November 11 from 6pm onwards at The Square in Dubai Sports City.

Tickets for the evening are Dhs149 and can be booked now on Platinumlist. On the day, doors will open at 5pm with the first act taking to the stage at 6pm. A tribute to Pink Floyd will play all the band’s iconic songs including Comfortably Numb and Wish You Were Here.

You’ll then be able to hear music by The Beatles performed by a sound-alike band. Followed by renditions of Queen’s greatest hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You.

After the bands have played, there will be two solo tribute acts to David Bowie and Elton John.

Throughout the event, DJ support will be provided by Mark Pickup and CN Williams.

Inspired by the BBC’s Last Night of the Proms, the event is being called a ‘rock extravaganza’ and promises to be an immersive experience.
