A Christmas Concert Coming To The Irish Village This December

November just got started but we are already marking our diaries for December as there are several brilliant festive events happening.

And joining the roster of Christmas events in Dubai is The Irish Village’s A Christmas Cracker. A concert of Christmas classics, the evening event will take place on Sunday December 17 from 7pm (doors open at 6pm) at the Garhoud branch.

Tickets are Dhs100 for adults and free for children under 16 years old. You can book yours via 800tickets or on The Irish Village website. At the family-friendly concert, you can expect to hear all your favourite Christmas songs performed by an 18-piece band.

It comes as The Irish Village in Garhoud gears up for a busy weekend. On Saturday November 4, four iconic bands from the ‘90s will be playing a selection of nostalgic hits as part of the LOADED music festival.

The line-up will feature Dodgy, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Stereo MC and Toploader – so get ready to dance the night (and moonlight) away. DJ Andy Buchan will also be on the decks.

Then on Sunday November 5, The Irish Village is celebrating its 27th birthday.

Yes, the stalwart was one of the first pubs in the city. It opened its doors in Garhoud in 1996 and is now an institution for old-timers and newcomers in Dubai.

To celebrate its birthday, the beloved Irish pub is throwing a party from morning to night (11am to 1am). As part of the celebrations, the pub will be selling house beverages for Dhs27 and putting on entertainment for the whole family.
