The Story Behind AED 600,000 Restaurant Bill At Abu Dhabi

What is the most expensive deal you’ve ever had? A few hundreds, maybe. But this customer went a little over the top while dinning at the renowned Nusr-ET Steakhouse in Abu Dhabi. Making the rounds on the internet, the restaurant bill was worth AED 615,065. Yes, you read it right!

Owner & chef Nusret Gökçe, posted the picture on his Instagram with the caption “Quality never expensive”. The Turkish entrepreneur is better known as ‘Salt Bae.’ He became an internet sensation a couple of years ago for the way he would cut, prepare and season meat. He owns a chain of luxury steak houses across 7 countries.

The bill comes as no surprise as Nusr-ET steakhouse is popular for having theatric and expensive items, including a gold Tomahawk and a gold burger, both covered in gold leaves.
