When the team behind Tagomago, Twiggy By La Cantine, Mimi Kakushi and La Cantine Du Faubourg open a new restaurant, you sit up and listen.

The latest venue to open its doors by Rikas Group in partnership with chef Hadrien Villedieu is the modern restaurant Chez Wam.

Named after the French slang phrase for “Chez Moi”, which means “At Mine”, the venue is inspired by the idea of being invited to a friend’s house for lunch or dinner. And the atmosphere is just as cool as you’d imagine.

Helming the kitchen is chef Hadrien Villedieu, who has spent many years working alongside some big-name chefs including Joël Robuchon, Alain Passard and Jean Pierre Vigato.

Chez Wam is located at The St Regis Gardens on the rooftop of Nakheel Mall.

The new space has immaculate vibes with specially-curated music played. Think chill-out rhythms and French disco beats that transition to more upbeat tunes throughout the night.

The food is a celebration of the chef’s signature French-rooted cuisine, with flavours influenced by his travels.

The dishes capture the contrast between Paris’s avant-garde techniques, the energy of Tokyo’s underground music scene, Morocco’s mystique, and the Mediterranean’s warmth.

The open kitchen acts as the heartbeat of the concept with 6 seats located at the chef’s table (arguably our favourite place to sit) with uninterrupted views of the kitchen. A perfect spot to see all the chefs in action.
