LA Export Dave’s Hot Chicken Opens In Dubai Mall

Drake-backed Dave’s Hot Chicken opened in JBR in September, followed by a branch in Motor City.

Now, a third branch has opened its doors to serve spicy fried chicken in Dubai Mall (on level two by the ice rink).

Fans of the crispy chick can expect to get their chops around all the menu classics, from chicken sliders to tenders or a combo.

When it comes to bringing the heat, there are seven spice levels to choose from. No Spice, Lite Mild, Mild and Medium. Then there’s Hot and Extra Hot, and if you are brave enough to order number seven; the Reaper you’ll have to sign a waiver. Yikes.

The no-frills chicken joint follows a similar decor theme to its other branches graffiti artwork on the walls, simple wooden tables, red metal chairs and a counter for ordering.

We can’t wait to sink our teeth into a juicy combo on our next shopping trip.

Dave’s story started back in 2017 when four childhood friends banded together $900 in savings and started selling fried chicken from a car park in East Hollywood.

The fried chicken created by Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, Tommy Rubenyan, and Gary Rubenyan quickly garnered popularity for its seasoning and tender texture.

Dave’s Hot Chicken’s popularity grew so much, in fact, that Samuel L. Jackson invested a large stake of money, closely followed by Drake.

Open now. Dubai Mall, Dowtown Dubai. daveshotchicken.com @daveshotchickengcc.
