There are some combos that we can never get tired of; chicken and chips, bread and butter, jelly and ice cream.

And then there comes weird combinations that shouldn’t work but do; peanut butter and jam, halloumi and honey and apple and cheese.

And now, there’s a new concoction in town with 90’s Burger unveiling a burgerccino.

A fusion of burger and coffee (don’t worry, it’s not a cup of steaming hot java with burger bits in), those who fancy chomping on the bun can expect a coffee-infused beef patty topped with coffee onion jam, coffee mayonnaise, gherkins and wild rocket inside a potato bun.

If you can’t wait to try it, the burger will launch on October 1 and the first 100 customers will have the meaty meal for free.

Rami Alkhatib, 90’s Burger CEO and mastermind of the burgerccino, said: “Incorporating coffee into a burger may appear unorthodox, but it skilfully harmonises with the meat’s richness, adding a captivating dimension of flavour.

“Coffee’s tannins also contribute to the beef’s tenderness and moisture retention, resulting in an exceptionally succulent burger.”
